About WSO

Westerville Special Olympics (WSO) offers year-round athletic programs for people with developmental disabilities. Our program includes team basketball, basketball skills, soccer, swimming, tennis, track & field and volleyball. WSO serves those living in the Westerville area in both Franklin and Delaware Counties.

State Summer Games, June 26-28 at OSU

Friday, June 26: Opening Ceremonies

5:30 PM Jesse Owens Stadium opens for seating for Opening Ceremony
6:15 PM Line up for Parade of Athletes
6:45 PM Parade of Athletes-Athletes will sit in the infield after parade

Saturday, June 27: Competitions

Volleyball Team will compete in the RPAC
Track events will be held at Jesse Owens
Softball Throw will be at Coffee Road Park

Sunday, June 28: Competition and Closing Ceremony

Track and Filed events continue
12:30 PM Closing Ceremony

Banquet for Athletics, Soccer, Tennis, and Volleyball Teams
