Westerville Special Olympics

VolunteerVolunteer

If you're looking for an opportunity to enrich the lives of people with developmental disabilities, please consider volunteering with Special Olympics. Although athletic experience is welcome, it is not required. The key thing is providing a safe, nurturing and fun environment in which athletics can take place.

We're always seeking:

  • Coaches
  • Coaching Assistants
  • Fund Raisers

If you're interested in volunteering with Special Olympics, please contact Alice Wilson at (614) 895-8113 or westervillespecialolympics@gmail.com

Volunteer Training

Special Olympics International has developed an online Protective Behaviors training module that must be completed by all new and continuing Class A volunteers. This training is a critical tool for protecting Special Olympics athletes from sexual, physical, and emotional abuse.

Click here to begin the online training.

The training module takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. If you're already a Special Olympics volunteer, please complete this as soon as you can.
